About Us
At Rangifer Ecological Services, we combine field-proven data collection with advanced statistical and spatial models to provide unmatched ecological insights. Our approach is rooted in the belief that sustainable development and conservation are best served by high-integrity, replicable science. We support projects across the forestry, mining, and infrastructure sectors, while also working with government agencies, conservation NGOs, and academic partners. From wildlife surveys to complex analyses, we deliver actionable information that withstands professional scrutiny.
We work closely with clients, regulators, and partners to ensure that every project is designed with clear objectives, transparent methods, and defensible results. Whether supporting environmental assessments, long-term monitoring programs, policy development, or research initiatives, our team emphasizes efficiency, precision, and clear communication at every stage. By integrating modern analytical tools with deep field experience, Rangifer Ecological Services helps organizations make informed decisions that balance ecological integrity with practical project needs.

A highly motivated and effective Field Biologist, having conducted research for government agencies, First Nations, industry, non-profit NGOs, and academic institutions.
As I’ve moved from place to place and project to project, my goals have remained largely the same: to strengthen the role of sound science in how we understand and manage natural resources. Achieving this requires bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and the decisions made by governments, industries, and communities. As scientists, we must communicate our findings clearly and effectively so that ecological evidence can meaningfully inform policy, management, and public understanding. By translating rigorous research into accessible insights, we can help ensure that natural resource management decisions are guided by the best available science and a clear understanding of the ecological relationships that sustain healthy landscapes and biodiversity.
